6 Simple Stages
FREE CONSULTATION
The first step is on us. 1 free hour consultation on what your needs are. We discuss ‘you’, we talk about your ideas, we listen to what you want your business to be….what you want, what you think you need and throw around a few idea. If you like what you hear and we think we are a good fit, we move onto STAGE 1.
STAGE 1 : AGREEMENTS
We believe in the written. You should have in writing what MMD is going to do for you, how much it is going to cost and what belongs to you at the end of journey. No mysteries. We can tell you up front, for website developments…you will OWN your domain name. For custom software, owning the source code is your option. At this stage we sign the paper and accept a deposit…then the fun begins.
STAGE 2 : DESIGN AND STORYBOARD
To dream the possible and draw it out is the height of making the impossible, possible. For all projects, you will receive up to 3 user-interface “looks”. Color, buttons, photo types are all drawn out in a picture form and you get to review what you like and what you do not. Once you are happy with the look, we move onto phase 3.
STAGE 3 : DEVELOP
The look is defined. The account is turned on. This stage we start to build the core of your site with periodic check in’s with you… just to make sure we are on track. This is the phase where you will need to supply us with unique photos and product pictures. We may also ask you to write some verbiage about the company, the staff and other information that is unique to you and your business. We also take the time to set up your social media, if you do not have it already in place . The vision starts to come alive.
STAGE 4 : TEST
The most brilliant engineering staff in the world, will never get it perfect. It is just life. We all think differently. We user software differently. We all assume differently. Testing is where we us people who have never seen the site before and start to play with it. On purpose, we try to break it. If we can break it, you customers will break it. Breaking is bad……
STAGE 5 : SOFT RELEASE
You tell a few people. Perhaps your friends, your family. You ask them what they think. Then we adjust based on the feedback.
STAGE 6 : THE SITE IS YOURS
Celebrate, you are DONE! With the look that reflects you and your business. Time to get onto business.
But we don’t just abandon you. We are right here with you. We can continue to maintain and backup your site from month to month and make changes as you need them. Even help you out, when you don’t understand something. Or we can turn it over to your own staff and teach them. Either way, we are not disappearing from your life.
